Fire at BM Container Depot in Sitakunda, Chittagong In the wake of the announcement of the date of inauguration of the upcoming Padma Bridge, it is being investigated whether it is sabotage to suppress the joy created in the whole country. About half a hundred people have been killed in fires and explosions caused by combustible chemicals.

The government will know whether this is just an accident or the intention is to damage the image of the country and export trade. This was stated by Information Minister Hasan Mahmud.

Dr. Hasan Mahmud said that it has been reported in some televisions and newspapers that this container depot belongs to an Awami League leader. I found out that Awami League leader Mujibur Rahman has 5 percent ownership in this depot. However, 95 per cent ownership of the information has not been disclosed yet.

The information minister was responding to a question from reporters while visiting the victims of the blast at Sitakunda, who is undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

The names and pictures of 12 members of the fire service who were killed and missing in the incident of fire and explosion at BM container depot in Sonaichhari union of Sitakunda have been published.
