In a move to fortify the cybersecurity defenses of schools nationwide, Conceal, an AI browser security provider, has partnered with Carahsoft, a government IT solutions supplier.

The initiative grants up to 500 free ConcealBrowse licenses to students across the U.S., with additional discounts available for larger institutions.

This collaboration comes on the heels of a disturbing report by Sophos. "The State of Ransomware in Education 2023" reveals a significant cybersecurity vulnerability within the education sector, with a staggering 80% of lower education and 79% of higher education providers experiencing ransomware attacks in the past year.

"Conceal recognizes the importance of safeguarding the digital future of students," said Gordon Lawson, CEO of Conceal. "This initiative not only addresses the immediate need for enhanced browser security but signifies our long-term commitment to online safety in the educational landscape."

Craig P. Abod, Carahsoft President, echoed this sentiment, highlighting their dedication to protecting students from cyber threats.

The free ConcealBrowse licenses provide a proactive defense against web-based attacks like phishing scams and social engineering attempts. Schools also gain content blocking capabilities to restrict access to inappropriate websites.

This streamlined program allows schools to swiftly register and equip students with ConcealBrowse, fortifying their online defenses against evolving cyber threats.

The initiative is available to all eligible U.S. educational institutions upon verification by Conceal and Carahsoft.
