Vancouver, British Columbia,  Canada – November 27, 2024:

Rock Tech Lithium Inc. on Wednesday announced a significant strides in the development of its Guben Converter site in Germany. This strategic project is poised to strengthen Europe's lithium supply chain and support the continent's transition to a sustainable future.

The state railway supervisory authority has granted approval to extend the Guben Süd industrial zone train line directly to Rock Tech's site. This crucial infrastructure development will significantly enhance the efficiency of transporting critical raw materials, such as spodumene concentrate, from major European ports to the converter. Additionally, it will streamline the logistics of moving refined lithium hydroxide to battery manufacturers across Europe.

The relocation of the ONTRAS gas pipeline has been successfully finalized. This ensures a reliable and uninterrupted energy supply for the converter's operations, enabling efficient and cost-effective production.

The Guben Converter is poised to become a cornerstone of Europe's battery supply chain. By processing lithium-rich spodumene concentrate into high-purity lithium hydroxide, the facility will provide a critical input material for the production of lithium-ion batteries, powering electric vehicles and energy storage systems.

"The achievement of these key milestones marks a significant step forward for Rock Tech's Guben Converter project," said Dirk Harbecke, CEO of Rock Tech Lithium. "We are grateful for the support of local authorities, regulatory bodies, and our partners in Germany. By leveraging our expertise in lithium processing and our strong commitment to sustainability, we are confident in our ability to deliver a reliable and environmentally responsible supply of lithium hydroxide to the European market."

Rock Tech Lithium's Guben Converter project is strategically positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for lithium-ion batteries in Europe. The company's focus on sustainable mining practices, advanced processing technologies, and strong partnerships will enable it to contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable future.
