Hyundai Motor America has officially revealed the 2026 IONIQ 9 EV, a premium all-electric three-row SUV that combines cutting-edge design, exceptional safety features, and a range of over 300 miles on a single charge. Starting at $58,955, the IONIQ 9 offers families a no-compromise electric vehicle designed for modern living.

The IONIQ 9 RWD S offers an impressive 335 miles of EPA-estimated driving range and is priced from $60,555, including destination charges. For those seeking a higher-performance variant, the IONIQ 9 AWD Performance Limited, equipped with 422 horsepower and 21-inch wheels, delivers 311 miles of driving range, starting at $72,850. The IONIQ 9 AWD Performance Calligraphy, starting at $76,590, adds exclusive design elements and a suite of new safety and convenience features, including aluminum trim and unique front and rear facias. The IONIQ 9 AWD Performance Calligraphy Design model, priced at $78,090, further elevates the design with Matte paint and 21-inch turbine wheels.

A key feature of the 2026 IONIQ 9 is its native NACS port, making it one of the first non-Tesla vehicles to seamlessly integrate with the Tesla Supercharger network. The included adapters also allow for charging on CCS high-speed public chargers and Level 2 home chargers.

Customers who purchase or lease any new 2026 IONIQ 9 model are eligible for a complimentary ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 charger or a $400 charging credit. The charger will be provided through the Hyundai Home Marketplace, with professional installation available through Hyundai's network. For those opting for the credit, it can be used via the ChargePoint mobile app.

All 2026 IONIQ 9 models will be assembled at the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America facility in Bryan County, Georgia. The model is also eligible for the full $7,500 federal tax credit with purchase.

“We’ve designed the IONIQ 9 to meet the demands of families with its spacious interior and premium finishes,” said Olabisi Boyle, Senior Vice President of Product Planning and Mobility Strategy at Hyundai Motor North America. “With impressive charging speeds, a host of active safety features, and a fully electric powertrain, the IONIQ 9 is a no-compromise family SUV that happens to be electric.”

Hyundai’s commitment to the U.S. economy remains strong, with significant operations across the country, including its North American headquarters in California, the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama assembly plant, and the new Metaplant America in Georgia. Together, these facilities contribute $20.1 billion annually and support 190,000 jobs, according to a recent economic impact report.

The 2026 Hyundai IONIQ 9 will begin arriving at dealerships in early May 2025.
