DUBAI, UAE — May 2, 2025:
Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, welcomed a delegation from St. Paul American Scholars (SPAS) at its Dubai headquarters on Monday, marking a significant milestone in their partnership to advance blockchain education.
The visit was part of a joint initiative between Bybit and SPAS, aimed at equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the blockchain-enabled economy. Ryan Kim, Head of SPAS, and Jinny Kim, Director of SPAS, were greeted by Helen Liu, COO of Bybit, during their official visit to the Bybit HQ in Dubai.
As part of the initiative, Bybit has committed $100,000 in scholarships to 300 SPAS students for the academic year 2025/26. This collaboration seeks to create a knowledge-sharing ecosystem, where SPAS students gain exposure to blockchain technology and the future of digital assets. Bybit will also organize interactive educational workshops on campus to bridge the gap between traditional academic resources and the skills needed for the future workforce.
"We believe the blockchain space is fundamental to shaping the future digital economy, and our partnership with SPAS will give students the tools they need to excel in this fast-moving industry," said Helen Liu, COO of Bybit. "This initiative is about inspiring students not just to understand technology, but to think about how they can use it to create positive social impact."
The SPAS delegation had the opportunity to tour Bybit’s Crypto Ark Experience Store, a state-of-the-art space at Bybit's Dubai headquarters that showcases the latest innovations in blockchain technology. Since its opening, the store has attracted entrepreneurs, crypto enthusiasts, and visitors keen to explore the possibilities of digital assets.
Ryan Kim, Head of SPAS, emphasized the importance of the visit, stating, "This visit was more than just a formal meeting. It was an opportunity to build trust and understanding, and it signifies the beginning of a deeper, meaningful partnership. Bybit’s commitment to providing scholarships for our students and planning continuous social contribution programs is deeply moving."
SPAS, founded in 2015, operates four campuses across South Korea and is recognized as one of the top international schools in the country. With a strong focus on global perspectives and academic excellence, SPAS offers exchange programs with schools in New York, Canada, and the UK, enabling students to experience diverse cultures and educational systems.
As the world transitions to a blockchain-driven economy, SPAS and Bybit aim to offer students hands-on experience and exposure to the evolving digital landscape. Bybit’s blockchain education programs will provide SPAS students with the knowledge and confidence to navigate this transformative space.
With the increasing importance of blockchain in both business and everyday life, Bybit’s partnership with SPAS aims to prepare students for careers in the digital economy. Through this collaboration, both institutions are fostering a new generation of innovators, ready to tackle challenges and drive technological progress.
"Bybit’s values align with SPAS's commitment to education and social responsibility, and we look forward to a continued partnership that will benefit students and the global community," said Ryan Kim.
The collaboration between Bybit and SPAS represents a powerful alliance in the realm of blockchain education, setting the stage for a future where technology plays a central role in shaping a better world.
