MUNICH, Germany — May 12, 2025:

Envision Energy, a global leader in smart green energy solutions, officially launched its next-generation EN ACSkid-10000 Power Conversion System (PCS) at Smarter E Europe 2025 in Munich. Designed for the renewable-powered grids of the future, the EN ACSkid-10000 redefines standards for grid-forming performance, environmental resilience, and operational efficiency across utility-scale energy and storage projects.

“With over 16 years of experience in power electronics and a global deployment of more than 100 GW, Envision is uniquely positioned to deliver grid-supportive innovation,” said Kevin Huang, Senior Vice President and President of Envision’s Energy Storage Product Line. “The EN ACSkid-10000 is more than just a PCS — it’s a strategic enabler of grid stability, renewable integration, and next-gen energy value streams.”

The EN ACSkid-10000 is engineered with advanced grid-forming features including synthetic inertia to stabilize frequency fluctuations, high short-circuit current handling for improved fault ride-through, and robust voltage waveform stabilization to suppress local and inter-area oscillations. Its black start capability enables autonomous grid restoration and offers operators the opportunity to monetize grid services such as inertia response and rapid frequency support.

Designed for operational excellence in harsh environments, the system boasts IP65 ingress protection and C5 corrosion resistance. It maintains peak performance across temperature extremes using high-efficiency liquid cooling, while operating at an ultra-low noise level of just 56 dB(A) — ideal for noise-sensitive installations.

The EN ACSkid-10000 delivers an industry-leading 5.05 MW per unit, maximizing power density and minimizing project footprint. It supports inertia for up to 20 seconds and withstands short-circuit currents at 1.5 times its rated load for up to 10 seconds, ensuring grid resilience under stress.

As global energy systems accelerate toward carbon neutrality, the EN ACSkid-10000 positions Envision Energy at the forefront of power conversion technology. It empowers utilities and operators to stabilize increasingly dynamic grids, unlock new revenue models, and advance the global transition to sustainable power.
