Peachtree City, Georgia, USA — May 3, 2025:

Rinnai America Corporation, a leader in advanced, energy-efficient water heating solutions, welcomed U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright to its Griffin, Georgia manufacturing facility on May 2 as part of the Department of Energy’s “First 100 Days of Unleashing American Energy Victories” initiative.

Secretary Wright toured the cutting-edge facility and spoke to workers and executives, commending Rinnai’s role in driving domestic manufacturing, preserving American jobs, and championing consumer freedom in energy choice. His visit marked a significant milestone in highlighting the administration’s commitment to rolling back burdensome regulations and revitalizing U.S. industry.

“Rinnai America is a perfect example of what's at stake when Washington pushes reckless regulations,” said Secretary Wright, referencing a previously proposed rule under the Biden administration that would have banned non-condensing tankless water heaters. “Thanks to the courage and perseverance of these workers, we were able to stop a rule that would have cost hundreds of jobs and hurt consumers.”

Rinnai remains the only U.S. manufacturer of non-condensing tankless water heaters, which are up to 50% more efficient than traditional storage models. The company’s products not only help American families reduce energy bills, but also provide a competitive edge in the global market.

Frank Windsor, President of Rinnai America, praised the visit and the Department’s efforts: “We’re grateful for Secretary Wright’s leadership in protecting American manufacturing. This support ensures that companies like Rinnai can continue to grow, innovate, and serve our communities.”

The Griffin facility, located in Georgia’s 3rd Congressional District, has also benefited from strong support by Congressman Brian Jack, who helped secure legislative backing to block the harmful regulation.

“It was an honor to welcome Secretary Wright to our district to celebrate the repeal of a job-killing rule,” said Congressman Jack. “His visit marks the first official Cabinet visit to Spalding County and reaffirms our commitment to keeping American jobs right here in Georgia.”

Rinnai’s investment in Georgia represents a broader national effort to sustain energy independence, support workforce development, and maintain U.S. leadership in high-efficiency technologies.
