Auburn Hills, USA — June 27, 2025:

The Jeep Gladiator has taken the top spot in the Midsize Pickup category in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS), tying for first and outperforming the segment average in seven of ten critical areas, including driving experience, infotainment, and interior design. This marks the second time in three years that the Gladiator has led its segment.

Stellantis, the parent company of Jeep, Chrysler, and Dodge, recorded significant quality gains across its brand portfolio. The Jeep Wrangler secured second place in the Compact SUV category, helping the Jeep brand improve by 13 points overall. The Chrysler Pacifica also earned high praise, finishing second in the Minivan segment. These results contributed to Chrysler’s 13-point reduction in reported problems per 100 vehicles.

Dodge made the most dramatic improvement in the 2025 IQS, climbing 24 spots—the largest gain of any brand—to finish seventh overall. The surge reflects Stellantis’ renewed focus on delivering superior initial quality and addressing customer concerns early in the ownership experience.

“We’re building momentum and, more importantly, building trust,” said Yuri Rodrigues, Senior Vice President of Quality at Stellantis North America. “These results show that we’re listening to our customers and putting them at the center of every decision we make. We are focused on setting the highest ambitions in quality, and the time is now to execute.”

The J.D. Power IQS evaluates new-vehicle owners’ experiences during the first 90 days of ownership, measuring problems per 100 vehicles (PP100). Lower scores reflect higher quality and satisfaction. In total, three Stellantis vehicles placed among the top three in their respective segments in the 2025 study.

J.D. Power, a global leader in automotive analytics and consumer insights since 1968, publishes the IQS annually to benchmark automakers' performance based on owner feedback.

Stellantis, celebrating 100 years in the North American automotive industry in 2025, continues to prioritize quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction across its global lineup.
