Dhaka, Bangladesh — June 2, 2025:
Global technology brand OPPO has initiated a campaign, ‘OPPO Haat-E-Ki?’, focusing on traditional cattle markets in observance of Eid-ul-Adha. The contest began on May 30 and is scheduled to conclude on June 6, 2025.
The campaign encourages individuals, including content creators and families, to document experiences at local cattle markets, or 'haats'. This involves capturing activities such as animal selection, price negotiations, and interactions with livestock.
Participation requires individuals to use OPPO’s designated Eid AR filter, available by searching "OPPO Haat E Ki" on TikTok. Submissions, comprising photos, reels, or stories, must be posted on social media platforms with the hashtag #HaateKi and tagging @OPPOBangladesh.
Winners will be selected based on content deemed creative or entertaining, with OPPO smartphones awarded as prizes.
Damon Yang, Managing Director of OPPO Bangladesh Authorized Exclusive Distributor, stated that the campaign aims to facilitate the capturing of Eid-ul-Adha traditions and moments, allowing for cultural expression through technological means.
The initiative focuses on the documentation of festive activities by combining cultural elements with digital media.
