WASHINGTON, USA — July 1, 2025:

NASA and SpaceX are preparing for the launch of their 11th crew rotation mission to the International Space Station (ISS), scheduled for late July or early August 2025. The mission, dubbed Crew-11, will lift off aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The four-member international crew includes NASA astronaut Zena Cardman, who will command the mission; NASA astronaut Mike Fincke, serving as pilot; Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Kimiya Yui; and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov. Yui and Platonov will serve as mission specialists.

This mission marks the first spaceflight for both Cardman and Platonov. Fincke, a veteran of three previous spaceflights, returns for his fourth mission, while Yui embarks on his second.

Crew-11 will conduct a variety of science experiments, technology demonstrations, and maintenance tasks during their stay aboard the ISS, contributing to ongoing research that supports future deep space exploration.

NASA will provide live coverage of the launch, pre-launch events, and docking operations, offering the public a front-row seat to this latest milestone in international space cooperation and scientific advancement.
