BLOOMFIELD, United States – July 31, 2025:

Universal Technical Institute (UTI), a division of Universal Technical Institute, Inc., has named Robert (“Rob”) Paganini as the new Campus President of UTI-Bloomfield, reinforcing its commitment to developing top-tier talent across the skilled trades.

Paganini, a veteran executive in automotive and diesel education, brings deep experience from roles including leadership at UTI-Miramar in Florida. His appointment marks a return to his roots — as a New Jersey native, Paganini steps into this role with a personal connection to the community and the region’s workforce needs.

“Rob’s combination of hands-on industry knowledge, operational expertise, and student-focused leadership will help UTI-Bloomfield continue to thrive,” said Tracy Lorenz, President of the UTI Division. “He brings a strong record of building teams, growing programs, and preparing students for meaningful, skilled trades careers.”

The UTI-Bloomfield campus, which opened in 2018 just 18 miles from New York City, spans 102,000 square feet and offers programs in Automotive Technology, Diesel & Industrial Technology, Welding Technology, HVACR, and combined Automotive/Diesel training. It is also home to Ford FACT Manufacturer-Specific Advanced Training, giving students the chance to earn industry-recognized Ford credentials.

"I'm proud to step into this role and serve the community I've always called home," Paganini said. "UTI-Bloomfield has a strong foundation, and I'm committed to building on that momentum with our students, staff, and industry partners."

The campus maintains strong industry connections throughout the Tri-State area, working with employers such as Penske Automotive Group, Hertz Corporation, Crown Lift, Gabrielli Truck, and Sunbelt Rentals. Many of these companies participate in UTI’s Student Early Employment Program, providing students opportunities to “earn while they learn” and gain real-world experience while still in training.

Founded in 1965, Universal Technical Institute, Inc. is a leading national provider of career training in skilled trades, automotive, electrical, energy, and healthcare. The company operates 15 UTI campuses across nine states and 17 Concorde Career Colleges campuses in eight states.

With Paganini at the helm, UTI-Bloomfield is poised to deepen its impact on New Jersey’s workforce pipeline and empower more students to pursue high-demand, rewarding careers.
