Sky Elements, the United States’ largest drone light show provider, made history this Independence Day weekend by securing three new Guinness World Records, marking a milestone in the evolution of entertainment technology.
The first record was set on July 3, 2025, in Irving, Texas, when Sky Elements created the largest aerial image of a cowboy hat using multi-rotor drones. The company followed up with two additional record-breaking feats on July 4: the most live drone shows performed by different pilots in a 24-hour period (25 shows) and the most live drone shows performed in a single hour (9 shows).

The record-setting shows began at 9:00 PM Eastern Time, with Sky Elements’ teams launching synchronized drone light displays in cities across the country. The 25 shows took place in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Missouri, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Oregon, and Washington, creating an unprecedented coast-to-coast spectacle. Among these, nine cities set the record for most shows flown within a single hour: Sarasota, Bal Harbour, Dover, Surfside, Camilla, Columbus, St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Nashville.
