MELVILLE, New York, United States – August 6, 2025:

Leviton, a global leader in electrical and digital building infrastructure, has announced the release of GreenConnect, a new line of wireless lighting controls engineered for simplicity, scalability, and reliability. Designed with contractors and specifiers in mind, GreenConnect eliminates the need for hubs, complex wiring, factory commissioning, or app-based setup—making lighting control more accessible for virtually any building project.

The system introduces wireless capabilities to nearly any switching or dimming load and is compatible with a wide range of lamp fixtures and load control devices. GreenConnect allows users to implement intelligent lighting without extensive infrastructure upgrades, providing a faster path to energy-efficient and code-compliant buildings. Whether starting with a single wireless dimmer or outfitting an entire building, users can easily expand the system to include wireless load controllers, occupancy sensors, controlled receptacles, and more—creating a unified, smart environment over time.

At the heart of GreenConnect is Leviton's push-to-pair (P2P) technology, which simplifies every step of the process, from design and installation to final programming. GreenConnect operates on a robust 2.4GHz wireless mesh network, ensuring dependable communication across all connected devices. It supports switching, 0-10V dimming, and forward phase dimming, and includes options for battery-powered wireless switches and dimmers, along with occupancy sensors equipped with integrated photocells for daylight harvesting and energy conservation.

For advanced control needs, GreenConnect can be paired with the GreenMAX DRC Wireless Keypad Room Controller, enabling features such as scheduled scenes, color tuning, multi-zone occupancy and vacancy sensing, and daylighting automation. These capabilities position GreenConnect as a smart, future-ready solution that meets or exceeds energy code requirements including IECC, ASHRAE 90.1, and California Title 24, Part 6 (2025).

“Engineered with the design-build contractor and specifier in mind, GreenConnect delivers a solution that’s easy to design, install and program,” said Tom Leonard, vice president and general manager of Leviton Lighting & Controls. “Installers can finish more projects with less wiring, simplified programming and reduced time on jobsites.”

With GreenConnect, Leviton continues its mission to innovate smart, scalable solutions that empower professionals, reduce installation complexity, and support global sustainability goals in lighting and energy management.
