CLAYTON, Ohio, USA — August 4, 2025:

SINBON Electronics Co., Ltd., a leading electronics system integrator, is announcing the opening of a new 59,000-square-foot facility in Clayton, Ohio, marking a major expansion of its US manufacturing capabilities. With an investment of approximately $8.5 million, the new facility more than doubles SINBON’s US manufacturing footprint, bringing an additional 200 jobs to the area and reinforcing its commitment to serving high-growth industries such as industrial robotics, automotive, and renewable energy.

Joy Wu, Vice President of SINBON’s Industrial Business Unit, emphasized the importance of the expansion for meeting growing customer demand. "As our US partners increasingly seek to onshore their supply chains, speed and proximity have never been more critical to manufacturing innovation for high-growth areas like robotics," Wu commented. "By expanding right in the heartland of American industry, we can now help our customers innovate faster, solve complex production challenges locally, and strengthen supply chain security at a time when it matters most."

The new Clayton facility will cater to SINBON’s key US industries, with a strong focus on three primary sectors: robotics and drones for smart manufacturing and logistics, solar energy hardware, and off-road vehicles. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the facility will provide advanced capabilities for medium-to-low volume, high-mix production. This will include services such as box builds, general-to-complex and EV cable assembly, and printed circuit board assembly (PCBA). The facility’s optimized layout and expanded space will also support larger product production, while maintaining a focus on flexibility and customer-specific needs.

In addition to enhancing production capabilities, the Clayton facility will function as a central hub for SINBON’s US warehouse network, improving logistics, material flows, and customer service. The company expects to streamline lead times significantly with its new operations. The expansion also means an increase in local jobs by up to 70% compared to the previous Vandalia facility. The company's US headquarters, located nearby in Tipp City, will continue to serve as the operational center for SINBON’s activities in the region.

SINBON's decision to expand its US footprint comes at a time when many customers are increasingly demanding locally-produced components. The company’s largest US clients include major players across various sectors, including a top global e-commerce company with a market capitalization exceeding $1.5 trillion. Other significant customers include leaders in medical technology and solar energy hardware, with SINBON recently entering the smart fishing space in collaboration with a cutting-edge angling technology company.

The expansion aligns with SINBON’s broader business strategy, which is focused on innovation, customer-centric solutions, and long-term sustainability. Established in 1989 in Taiwan, SINBON has built a strong global presence, with operations in several countries, including China, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, Hungary, and the United States. The company’s extensive expertise in providing integrated design and production services for interconnect solutions is complemented by its commitment to ESG principles, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and innovation across all its offerings.

The new Clayton facility is set to be fully operational by September 2025, strengthening SINBON’s ability to meet the growing demands of its US customer base and continue its expansion across the global manufacturing landscape.
