Berlin, Germany — September 7, 2025:
At IFA 2025, MARSTEK, a global leader in energy storage solutions, unveiled its revolutionary Plug in; WireLite concept, which is set to redefine solar energy storage. With its debut in Berlin (Hall 2.2, Booth 177), the company demonstrated how its innovative approach to residential energy storage can make solar power more accessible, affordable, and easier to install. MARSTEK’s goal is to simplify the adoption of solar energy, making it practical for every household in Europe, particularly as demand for self-generation solutions continues to grow alongside rising labor costs.
The Plug in; WireLite concept is designed to eliminate the complexities traditionally associated with solar energy storage. The innovative "plug-in" products require no rewiring or intricate installation processes—users simply connect the systems effortlessly. This streamlined approach addresses the increasing need for straightforward, reliable energy solutions as consumers across Europe seek independence from traditional energy sources.
MARSTEK showcased several standout products as part of the VENUS Series, which embody the Plug in; WireLite concept. The MARSTEK VENUS A is an all-in-one balcony energy storage system (ESS) that combines a 2.4kW capacity, four MPPTs, and 1.2kW AC coupling. This system is expandable up to 12.72kWh with five additional battery packs and includes AI-based Time of Use (TOU) management, helping homeowners save up to €1,239 annually. It’s designed to offer a cost-effective, space-saving solution for residential energy storage.
The MARSTEK VENUS D takes it a step further with a 4kW capacity, also equipped with four MPPTs and 2.2kW AC coupling. This system is expandable from 2.56kWh to 15.36kWh, making it ideal for homes that require more energy storage. It also features AI-powered TOU management and can help users save as much as €1,797 per year.
For larger-scale residential needs, MARSTEK introduced the VENUS E Gen 3.0, a plug-in AC battery ESS that offers 5.12kWh of storage and delivers seamless 15 ms backup switching. This system is compact, lightweight, and offers LAN connectivity. The VENUS E is scalable to 46.08 kWh, making it perfect for homes that need more storage capacity as energy consumption increases over time.
Another major innovation showcased at IFA 2025 was MARSTEK’s WireLite design, which simplifies the cabling process for high-capacity energy storage systems. Traditional solar energy storage solutions can be bogged down by complex wiring structures, but the WireLite design streamlines this by reducing the need for extensive cabling, while still maintaining high performance and safety. The result is a system that can be installed quickly and easily, without compromising on the reliability and efficiency that energy storage systems need to provide.
The MARSTEK VENUS X, a part of the WireLite family, is a powerful 6kW AC-coupled ESS with 10kWh of storage, which can be expanded up to 60kWh with five additional battery packs. The VENUS X simplifies installation by allowing direct wiring to the distribution box. It also offers impressive backup power—6kW continuous and 12kW peak—ensuring whole-home reliability. The system's <10ms switching time guarantees seamless transitions during power outages.
As Europe continues its push toward greater sustainability and energy independence, MARSTEK’s Plug in; WireLite concept is setting a new standard for solar energy storage. By making these systems easier to install, more affordable, and highly efficient, MARSTEK is helping homeowners take control of their energy needs without the burden of complex installations or high costs.
Attendees at IFA 2025 can visit MARSTEK’s booth (Hall 2.2, Booth 177) to see these innovations up close and experience firsthand the future of solar energy storage. Additionally, MARSTEK is hosting the VENUS Series Kickoff Event on September 6, offering a deeper look into the capabilities of their products and how they are poised to change the landscape of residential energy solutions.
With its Plug in; WireLite solutions, MARSTEK is not only advancing solar technology but also empowering consumers to embrace cleaner, more sustainable living in a future where energy independence is achievable for all.
