Brussels, Belgium — October 5, 2025:
Yutong Bus, a global leader in electric buses, made waves at Busworld Europe 2025 in Brussels by unveiling its cutting-edge EV Long-Life Tech—a revolutionary system that ensures electric buses and their batteries have the same 15-year lifespan or 1.5 million kilometers of total mileage. This innovation not only strengthens Yutong's position as an industry leader but also brings a more sustainable and cost-efficient solution to urban public transportation.
At the event, Yutong was awarded seven major honors, showcasing its technological and environmental excellence. The Yutong U15 urban bus was awarded the coveted "Grand Award Bus," while the T14E ultra-luxury coach claimed the "Grand Award Coach." The U15 also received multiple "Label of Excellence" accolades in safety, ecology, and design, underscoring Yutong's commitment to creating premium, eco-friendly, and safe transportation solutions.
"Through our EV Long-Life Tech, we are not only enhancing vehicle durability but also contributing to a more sustainable and circular economy. This technology significantly lowers operating costs, reduces carbon emissions, and makes electric buses a more attractive option for public transportation systems worldwide," said a Yutong spokesperson at the event.
In addition to showcasing the EV Long-Life Tech, Yutong introduced a range of electric buses catering to diverse transportation needs. The U15 city bus, with a capacity of up to 90 passengers and a range of 850 kilometers, incorporates Yutong’s Link+ fleet management system, providing real-time operational data to improve safety, efficiency, and operational costs.
The T14E, a high-end tourist coach, is available with 621 or 704 kWh batteries and offers a range of up to 850 kilometers. It is equipped with luxurious features such as a 360-degree surround sound system, an NFC digital key, and adaptive air suspension, ensuring a comfortable experience for long-distance travelers. On the intercity front, Yutong introduced the IC12E, offering a maximum range of 675 kilometers and a 25% climbing grade, along with high-efficiency charging systems that can recharge from 12% to 100% in just about 1.2 hours.
In line with the growing demand for sustainable and efficient public transportation, Yutong's Link+ fleet management system stood out by winning the Busworld Digital Award Gold Prize. This platform provides an integrated solution for managing electric bus fleets—offering capabilities in management, maintenance, and repair. This solution aims to streamline operations, reduce downtime, and improve cost efficiency for fleet operators across Europe.
Yutong also emphasized its commitment to comprehensive service solutions. The company’s EnRoute+ service brand offers a range of support, including full-service contracts, mobile maintenance tours, and on-site technical support. The company has established a robust European service network, with a central parts depot in France, 16 forward warehouses, and 32 authorized service stations across Europe to ensure smooth operations for customers.
Yutong’s approach to creating end-to-end solutions that cover the entire vehicle lifecycle—from advanced technology to reliable after-sales service—demonstrates its commitment to shaping the future of mobility. The company’s focus on intelligent connectivity, efficient charging infrastructure, and sustainability positions it as a leader in the transition to greener and smarter public transportation solutions worldwide.
