Irvine, USA — May 13, 2025:

Kia America announced that its “Accelerate the Good” Dealer Match program raised more than $4.6 million in 2024 to support nonprofit organizations across the United States. Now in its fourth year, the initiative has become a cornerstone of Kia’s community engagement, providing essential funding to causes addressing child health, food insecurity, disaster relief, animal welfare, and more.

Over $1.5 million of the funds were allocated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and No Kid Hungry, reinforcing Kia’s ongoing partnerships with two of the country’s leading nonprofit organizations. Additional donations supported a diverse list of charities, including the American Red Cross, Operation Homefront, Covenant House, Petfinder Foundation, and Toys for Tots.

“Our ‘Accelerate the Good’ initiative continues to provide meaningful support to those in need,” said SeungKyu (Sean) Yoon, president and CEO of Kia North America and Kia America. “We are especially proud to continue our support of St. Jude, No Kid Hungry, and the dozens of other organizations making a difference in communities nationwide.”

Beyond national donations, Kia collaborated with local organizations across the country, including food banks, shelters, and children’s hospitals. These grassroots efforts reflect the broader mission of the “Accelerate the Good” platform, which since 2019 has contributed over $30 million in donations. In addition to financial support, Kia employees participate in volunteer projects such as beach cleanups, food pantry service, clothing drives, and creative activities for hospitalized children.

Kia is also investing in long-term community development, including scholarship programs for underserved students and grants that support environmental innovation, ocean conservation, and animal protection.

With its 2024 milestone, Kia America strengthens its role as a socially responsible automaker committed to using its resources and influence to drive positive change at both national and local levels.
