BOISE, Idaho, USA — May 6, 2025:
ValorC3 Data Centers has announced plans to break ground on a cutting-edge 10MW data center in Boise, Idaho, marking a significant expansion in the region’s digital infrastructure. This will be the company's second facility in Boise and its fourth across the United States, reinforcing its commitment to modern, scalable solutions in high-demand technology markets.
Designed to meet the evolving needs of AI-driven enterprises, the facility will incorporate the latest sustainable technologies, including air and liquid cooling systems using closed-loop designs for enhanced performance and water efficiency. Once operational in 2027, ValorC3 will offer a combined total of 12MW of capacity in Boise, supporting a wide array of industries such as energy, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and technology.
“This new data center highlights Boise’s strategic value in terms of connectivity, power availability, and tech talent,” said Jim Buie, CEO of ValorC3 Data Centers. “We’re excited to partner with local and regional enterprises to deliver the AI-ready infrastructure they need.”
The upcoming data center will feature carrier-neutral operations and concurrently maintainable infrastructure, ensuring uptime, flexibility, and future scalability. The development follows ValorC3’s 2020 acquisition of Fiberpipe Data Centers, which helped establish the company’s footprint in Idaho’s burgeoning tech scene.
Local leaders have praised the move as a boon for business. “The addition of ValorC3’s second data center will give our local businesses a distinct advantage,” said Diane Bevan, President and CEO of the Idaho Technology Council. “It not only supports expansion for existing companies but also makes Boise even more attractive to enterprises looking to grow in the Northwest.”
With Boise continuing to emerge as a fast-growing tech hub, ValorC3’s investment promises to strengthen the region’s digital resilience and innovation capacity for years to come.
