Langfang, China – May 23, 2025:
At the 29th World Gas Conference (WGC2025), held in Beijing from May 19 to 23, 2025, ENN showcased its transformative “Intelligence + Low Carbon” approach to sustainable energy. Hosted by the International Gas Union (IGU), WGC2025 drew global leaders to explore the future of gas technologies and climate-aligned innovation.
Under the banner “Intelligence Fuels Ecology, Green Energizes Growth,” ENN took center stage through keynote forums, exhibitions, and technical papers. President Zhang Yuying highlighted that ENN now serves over 31 million residential and nearly 300,000 business users across China, leveraging AI, digitalization, and scenario-based solutions to modernize gas delivery while cutting emissions.
With more than three decades of experience, ENN operates 261 city gas projects across 105 cities. Responding to China’s urban renewal agenda, the company has deployed IoT sensors, real-time risk forecasting platforms, and AI-powered operations centers. This has enabled smarter, safer energy infrastructure and data-driven emergency response systems.
ENN’s “IoT + Intelligence + Ecology” model fosters synergy between governments, businesses, and communities—building cities that are not only livable but also resilient and technologically advanced.
In 2015, ENN launched GreatGas, an AI-powered ecosystem platform connecting gas suppliers and consumers through efficient, intelligent supply-demand matching. Now with over 2,000 ecosystem partners and more than 4,500 enterprise users, GreatGas facilitated 4.5 billion m³ of gas transactions in 2024 alone, improving flow efficiency by 40% and pushing transaction volume over CNY 100 billion.
Dr. Zhang Jun, Chair of ENN’s Technology Committee, stressed that intelligent coordination and deep customer understanding are key to unlocking a data-driven, demand-led energy model.
Since 2009, ENN has pioneered integrated low-carbon energy systems for industrial parks, campuses, and urban zones. Its Energy-Carbon Integrated Solutions platform customizes decarbonization strategies that align with both economic and environmental goals.
At WGC2025’s “Smart Energy Systems” forum, Vice President Cheng Lu noted that ENN’s clean energy services have reached over 4,000 clients, delivering annual carbon emission reductions of 12.73 million tons and standard coal savings of 3.15 million tons—clear evidence of real-world climate impact.
ENN’s booth at WGC2025 drew crowds with innovations like flexible LNG service models from Zhoushan Terminal, coal-to-hydrogen pyrolysis, and LNG generation from coke oven gas—cutting-edge examples of smart, low-carbon transformation.
Looking ahead, ENN reaffirmed its mission to co-create a global intelligent energy ecosystem through cross-border collaboration. By fusing intelligence with decarbonization, ENN is laying the foundation for cleaner, smarter, and more connected cities and industries worldwide.
